Back in 2007, Chris and I took part in an art show at our old shared studio with Photographer Franco Deleo. At that art show I debuted a series of two page comics entitled “The Not So Super Hero”. Intended to be a continuation of my never ending “I like to complain” series, The Not so Super Hero ended up being a piece all in it’s own.

Braaaaiiiinnnnsssss. Being a huge cult horror film fan, zombie films are obviously a part of my everyday life. From the classics like Night of the Living Dead, and Zombi 2 to the newer montage films like Shaun of the dead, I am always being inspired. Provided here are three of my favourite zombie illustrations that I have put together over the years. I can forsee this section growing in the in the near future as there are countless sketch books filled with the living dead.

Overview
The Sky is falling is a typographic exploration of the destruction of type. I have always had a facintaion with the 3D Realm of typography and the idea that there is more than just the facade of a letter. This piece was designed for fun. Destruction of the letters as well as the guidelines of typography.

Overview
People are always asking to see some ‘before and after’ shots for a lot of the compositing projects I work on. I thought I would throw a few samples in the Lab to give you a sneak peak into my creative process.

Quite a bit of prep work goes into turning random dreams into reality – from getting the right lighting, styling, hair & make-up and ONE perfect shot… to moving over to the post work, which is a process all in its own.

My original vision for this project was to visually capture a single person caught in the ‘threads of fate’ – showcasing the force and resistance of human nature when tangled with destiny.

Overview
I once dreamt I was walking down a long corridor in an old dilapidated house. Along the walls were photographic portraits that appeared to be fading out from reality into an illustrated ‘fantasy realm’… odd I know. From that dream I started sketching some of the portraits I remembered and over time I’m planning to recreate as many as I can.

This started off as a motion-based experiment, but ended up working so well with still frames, I spent more time in the details and was quite pleased with the results.
